On Saturday, March 18th, PVPL will be hosting an interactive demo with Make717 presenters as they show the public their portable laser cutter. Ten (10) students that are signed up will be able to make their own dog tag with the presenters. See below for more details and for registration.
When: Saturday, March 18th 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, approx. 10 minutes per student
Ages: 12 and up
Registration: Only TEN slots are available, so call the library at (717) 768-3160 during normal hours to reserve a spot!
NOTE: The public is still invited to come and watch the demo without a reservation. Reservations are only needed for a child to make a dog tag.
Details: This is a FREE demonstration and attendees will learn how lasers work, learn about how gCode works to control machines, and working with Inkscape to create a design. Each demo will conclude with the dog tag being printed out.
